Test your AI agent
Chat with your agent exactly as visitors see it, before and after you put it on your website.
Updated October 24, 2026
Open Test AI agent. The chat window is the same one visitors see on your website, with your agent's name, colour and actions.
What to try
- Ask the questions your customers really ask, the way they ask them.
- Ask something your knowledge doesn't cover: your agent should say it doesn't know and show your actions, not invent an answer.
- Ask in another language: the agent answers in that language.
- Click your action buttons to check the forms and links.
Under an answer, Sources lists where it came from. If an answer is wrong or missing, fix your knowledge, then ask again.
New session at the top of the page starts a fresh conversation, as a new visitor would.
What's different from your website
- Test chats are kept apart from real ones. In Conversations, turn on Show test chats to see them. Leads from test chats are marked Test in Leads.
- No email is sent when you fill in a form in a test chat.
- Test chats never connect to a live chat: Hand off to a human always shows the contact form here.
Test messages count
Messages you send here count towards your plan's messages, the same as messages from your website. A notice above the chat reminds you.
When your messages are used up, the agent replies "I can't answer questions right now.", exactly as visitors would see it, and a notice above the chat explains what happened. See Plans, message limits and what happens at the limit.
