Add the widget to your site with one line of code, then check that it works.

Before you start
You need a Thaelior account and a way to edit your website's code, or someone who can do it for you. On WordPress, the WordPress plugin is easier.
1. Copy your code
In your dashboard, open Install. Under Add the widget to your website, choose Any website, then Copy code. The code looks like this, with your own license key:
<script type="module" src="https://widget.thaelior.com/v1.js" data-license="th_your_key"></script>
2. Paste it before </body>
Paste the line once, in the part of your site that appears on every page, just before the closing </body> tag.
| Your site | Where to paste it |
|---|---|
| Your own HTML or theme files | Just before </body> in the layout shared by every page |
| A site builder | Its setting for custom code at the end of every page |
Save, then publish your site if your builder asks you to.
3. Check that it works
- Open your website: the chat button appears in a bottom corner of the page.
- Back on Install, click Check installation and enter your website's address.
If the check can't find the code but your site adds scripts through a tag manager or JavaScript, open your site: if the chat button is there, the widget works.
Can't edit your site yourself? On the same page, Send to your developer emails the code and the steps to the person who manages your site.
If the chat button doesn't appear
- Allowed domains: if you added domains under Security, your website's domain must be one of them.
- Where the widget shows: under Display, check that no page rule leaves this page out.
- Messages used up: when your plan's messages are used up, the widget is hidden until they're available again. Overview and Install show a banner when that happens.
